how to make chocolate cake

chocolate cake



                                   icing ingredients:
ingredients: 
1 3/4 cup flour                                                                       50g Soft Butter

1/2 cup cocoa                                                                         2 Tbsp Water


2 tsp baking powder                                                             1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 


1 cup white sugar                                                          1 1/2 cup icing sugar


125g butter


2 Tbsp golden syrup


2 eggs 

1 1/2 cup milk                                 

2 tsp baking soda                              


1 tsp vanilla essence                                 cooking method: 



                                           Preheat oven to 180°C. 

           Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and  White Sugar
In separate bowl add the butter and  Golden Syrup and melt 1 minute on high in microwave usually works In another bowl whisk the eggs  Add both the butter mix and the milk mix to dry ingredients and beat on medium for 1 minute. In a 20 cm round tin this takes 50-60 minutes to cook. Cool before icing.
