my holiday
MY HOLIDAY
On the first week of the holidays me and my family went to Auckland and Taupo, we first stopped at Whangerei for lunch then we went to Auckland stayed at my cousins place for the night. on the next day we went to a VR (virtual reality) and played games it was thrilling and exiting.
we stayed at our cousins for another night and planed the next day. on that day we went ice skating and went to a Japaneses Ramen (noodle) shop. After that we headed of to Taupo and that took ages but anyway, In Taupo we went to our grand mothers house and we stayed there.
on the first morning in Taupo we went to a thermal hot pool that smelt weird and a park to kick a ball. the next morning we went biking (cycling) around lake Taupo then we went on a boat that went to the Maori rock carvings on a island it was thrilling. the next day we stopped at Auckland again and stayed another night and went shopping. after that we went home and the holiday was fun.

Making changes
Making changes to the environment
We have been learning about sustainability and the environment, we have heard all thees terrible things that are happening around the world so we cant just sit there waiting for the world to end we have to make a change.
In the north Pacific ocean there is a big patch of garbage with the length of 1.6 million square kilometres called the garbage patch. this is where all your garbage ends up with all the fish that are dying by choking and swallowing it. the garbage patch is all the way from top to bottom of the sea and is the size more than twice as large as the US state of Texas. the garbage patch is a big vortex traping all the rubbish in one spot.
did you know because of global warming new Zealand was once a big contaninant of its own and was so closes to Australa but then water flooded it and it was only a bit left witch is what we have now.

no rules !
Last night we moved to level 1 that means no more rules of social distancing and no more restrictions. New Zealand is moving to a new normal with more fun to have.
The past 21 days we have had no active cases of Covid 19. For level 1 and no cases we are leading the world we are still trying to find a cure for Covid. Rules of level 1 ... NOTHING we are back to normal with nothing to worry about.
